It is estimated that approximately 18% of the population is trained in CPR. (JAHA). Survival rates can decrease by 10% for each minute a person remains collapsed. 9 in 10 cardiac arrest victims who receive a shock from an AED in the first minute live. (AHA)
Simply put, we want to train more individuals, so there is a greater chance of saving a life.
ABOUT RENEWED HEART
Renewed Heart is a Christ-led ministry. Our mission is to equip our churches and communities with potential life saving training. Observing a fellow church member, friend, or family member collapse and become unresponsive with no breathing and no pulse is a traumatic event. Panic, fear, and uncertainty can quickly take control when time to respond is critical. With basic CPR/AED training and a plan of action these fears can be reduced by trained individuals.
